New Heliopolis is a new city located east of Cairo Governorate in Egypt. It covers an area of 5,885 acres and was established by Presidential Decree No. 193 of 1995. It is affiliated with the Heliopolis Housing and Development Company and is considered a natural extension of the Heliopolis suburb in the future. It will represent the company's primary focus in the coming period, as available land within Heliopolis has been utilized, making it practical to focus on the new city of Heliopolis. The city borders the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road to the north, the Cairo-Suez Road and Madinaty to the south, along with Shorouk City to the west and Badr City to the east. The city's location is distinguished by its proximity to the Regional Ring Road, which will connect the city to the new cities, Helwan Governorate, 6th of October Governorate, Maadi, the Katameya-Ain Sokhna Road, and the Ring Road. The city's layout, which covers an area of 5,888 acres, is divided into residential, recreational, educational, commercial, administrative, medical, club, open spaces, green spaces, and a golf course. Although the Heliopolis Housing and Development Company does not resort to land sales, the land sold in New Heliopolis City amounted to approximately 1,370,000 square meters, generating EGP 1 billion. To achieve liquidity for the project and complete it in the shortest possible time, the company is investing in the 212-acre recreational area at the city entrance on the Cairo-Suez Desert Road, which will be used for tourism and entertainment activities. The city club is currently being planned as a nucleus to revitalize urban development and serve the city's current residents.
